The Adventist movement was once called ‘the Seventh Month Movement’. Later, the seventh day was adopted, and in the passing of time, the seven month has been largely forgotten.
It is time for a great revival, of tenfold in magnitude to the Midnight Cry. Just as before, it involves the seventh month.
The ancient revival in Nehemiah’s day was “when the seventh month came” (Neh. 7:73). “And the ears of all the people were attentive to the Book of the Law” (8:3).
Could it be that the contents of that same Book hold the ingredients for a modern revival that will take place in the seventh month?
“After the giving of the Law, GOD gave Moses specifications regarding the law. These specifications are plain and explicit. No one need make a mistake. The directions are as plain as A B C. In the day of judgment we shall be asked whether we have lived in harmony with these specifications. Have we studied these specifications? I heard them one night some weeks ago. It seemed as if they were being given to Israel, and there was the same solemnity that there was when they were given. I thought, This is given to me that I may tell our people that we must study these specifications” (E.G. White, Ms. 11, 1903).
