Welcome to Bright Beams Mission! We’re so glad you’ve visited us. This website is about our Lord and Saviour, Jehoshua the Messiah and His Father, with the goal of giving glory to Jehovah, so we don’t like to promote ourselves. Still, we know that you are here to learn more about us, so we’ll be happy to share our testimonies and about how God is working through us for His people.
About Bright Beams Mission
This website is a collection of precious gems of truth revealed to us by the Holy Spirit through deep study of the Word of God and the writings of Sister White. Our mission is to share these discoveries with our fellow Seventh-day Adventists in the hope of helping us all to wake from slumber. We seek the Messiah‘s eye salve of the Holy Spirit, pure gold of love and faith, and white garment of righteousness. It is our deepest desire that we will all see our true condition and repent before the Messiah spews us from His mouth (Revelation 3:15-18). “Israel” means “overcomer with God” and the Messiah promised to make us true overcomers like Himself, so that we may sit with Him in His throne (Revelation 3:21). We want our people (and we include ourselves) to be “zealous, therefore, and repent”! This is our deepest desire for God‘s people.
Ricky Bokovoy
Ricky is a born and raised Minnesotan with a love for the northwoods. He was brought up in a worldly home, though his mother was raised Christian and remains active in her church to this day. He believed in God, but had no relationship with Him. Throughout school, he studied hard and nearly achieved a GPA of 4, but the effort burned him out and his health took a big downturn during college.
Amanda Bokovoy
Amanda is originally from Canada. She was raised in the Seventh-day Adventist church (baptized at only seven years old). Yet, she was not deep into the church, for she attended public school and her family went through multiple periods of not attending church. Her parents also divorced when she was a child. She went through many ups and downs in her relationship with the Lord before she finally, truly surrendered in her late twenties, not long before she met Ricky.
An International Marriage
God brought the Bokovoys together in a rather sudden way! They became acquainted with one another on Facebook in 2016, through a mutual friend, and then got to know each other on Skype. Within months, they began courting and, when they both attended a spring camp meeting in 2017, Ricky proposed—with a bouquet of their favourite flowers and some delicious dates!
