Shelishi 178 New Moon Report

The above photo was taken by Yoel Halevi from Jaffa gate, Jerusalem at 8:12 PM on the 29th of Ziv. The New Moon was also sighted by
Tchiya Jenkins at 8:15 PM followed by three others in Rechavia, Jerusalem.

This was very predictable since Israel is officially in its dry season and the moon was plenty mature to be easily seen.

Therefore, the New Moon of Shelishi for the 178th year of the Investigative Judgment will dawn as the 29th of Ziv is ending, at the commencement of the fourth day into the Sabbath.

Shelishi will be a full month of 30 days, and I plan on publishing the printable calendar for the month after that early on the calendar page as well since we know when it will begin. Interestingly, Shelishi will correspond to the papal calendar "month" of June, also being 30 days.

At the end of this newsletter are links to the printable calendar for Shelishi—both a simpler universal one on PDF and an editable one that can be used for your local area (Word Doc).

Shelishi Events

Pentecost will be on the 12th of Shelishi this year, though it is a hard one to miss since we are to be counting up to that day.

The summer solstice will be on the 21st, which is when the sun makes its furthest north appearances when it rises and sets at the Mount of Olives.

Important Shelishi Event in Biblical History

"On the third New Moon after the children of Israel were gone forth out of the land of Egypt, on that day came they into the wilderness of Sinai" (Exodus 19:1).
