We apologize for not issuing a New Moon Watch, but we were waiting to see if the team in Israel would perform an observation for the New Moon last evening. They did not, even though Islamic models were indicating a possibility of sighting it; they have their own model that apparently showed visibility not being a possibility. However, it does not sound like it would have been sighted, for reports out of Iran, Egypt, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia were negative for naked eye sighting, even with clear sky conditions.
