We expect the new crescent moon of Ziv to appear at the Holy Place (Mount of Olives) and the rest of the northwest half of the world on the second evening into next Sabbath; therefore, this Abib will, like Adar, be 29 days long. The New Moon Day will accordingly fall on the third day into the next Sabbath; mark from that day 29 days forward. It remains to be seen if Ziv will be a third consecutive short (29-day) month.
