The new crescent moon of Abib commencing the new year—the 181st year of the Judgment Era—will appear on Sabbath evening in parts of the northern Pacific (including Hawaii and southwestern Alaska); otherwise, it will appear over the rest of the world the next evening, excluding New Zealand and most of Australia. Clouds will not be a factor in Jerusalem; therefore, this Adar will be 29 days and the New Moon Day will fall on the second day into next Sabbath.
