Shebat 178 New Moon Watch
Watch
The eleventh New Moon will be visible on this Sabbath's morrow (Solar Day 308) over the Americas and Africa, along with the southwest edges of Europe and Asia; the evening after, it will be visible over the entire world, barring atmospheric obstructions. The Holy Mount of Olives, where the biblical calendar is based, is right in that edge area. Therefore, it is uncertain whether it will be visible or not that evening, though clouds are not expected to interfere. If it appears it will be very difficult to see and make a very brief appearance, so this one will be an interesting one to watch, especially since if it appears it would make this month only 27 days due to multiple cloudy previous watches!
Be watching for the New Moon Report to come out the morrow of the Sabbath. We will know that night when the New Moon begins, since it is expected to also be clear the next evening from that, so that there will be no doubt concerning its visibility.

We would like to thank you for your prayers for us last time around. We never lost our power, though many, if not most, homes in this area did.
We would also like to remind you that next year's biblical wall calendar (starting this spring) is for sale, and we highly recommend that you get a copy if you have not yet. To get one, just email us at contact@brightbeams.org.
