About Us

Our names are Ricky and Amanda Bokovoy and we are a (very) happy pair of newlyweds. We would love to tell you a little about how we met and about this ministry.

Our Backgrounds

A photo of RickyRicky was raised in a worldly home, even though his mother was raised Christian and remains active in her church to this day. Ricky had his conversion experience when he was twenty and became a Seventh-day Adventist soon afterward. His father was also led to join the SDA denomination, though his mother continues to attend a Sunday church.

A photo of AmandaAmanda, on the other hand, was raised in the SDA church (baptized at only seven years old). Her parents also divorced when she was a child. She went through many ups and downs in her relationship with the Lord before she finally, truly surrendered her all. She experienced conversion in her late twenties, not long before she met Ricky.

We now work together to share the Gospel both locally (primarily through literature evangelism) and online. It is our deepest desire to be repairers of the breach (Isaiah 58).

How We Met

(We’ll be filling this out soon! Look forward to it, because God did amazing things!)

About Our Ministry

On BB.org, we share the precious gems of truth that God reveals to us as we dig deep into the Word and Spirit of Prophecy. In addition to these, we make extensive use of the writings of Jones and Waggoner, as well as the other pioneers. We seek Christ’s eye salve of the Holy Spirit, pure gold of faith, and white garment of righteousness. It is our deepest desire that we will all see our true condition and repent before Christ spews us from His mouth. “Israel” means “overcomer with God” and Christ promised to make us true overcomers like Himself, so that we may sit with Him in His throne. We want our people (and we include ourselves) to be “zealous, therefore, and repent”! This is our deepest desire for God’s Remnant people.

Our primary topics are: the “Sabbath proclaimed more fully” (WLF 18.4), the 1888 message (Christ our Righteousness), practical godliness, knowing “the only true God and Jesus Christ Whom He has sent” and prophecy. We’re big into reforms, probably even more so than most “conservative” Adventists.

Vision of Habakkuk

Check out our resources page to see some useful websites and tools that we use for our studies and for this website.

Now unto Him that is able to guard you from stumbling, and to set you before the presence of His glory without blemish in exceeding joy, to the only God our Saviour, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and power, before all time, and now, and for evermore. Amen.
— Jude 1:24-25 RV

Much thanks goes to our brother, Christian Israel for creating our logo. Amanda modified it a little.
